Among the many fans of boxing across the world, there are a growing numbers in all countries who appreciate women in the ring. As Natalie Brown, the solo host of The Sugar Show, which airs weekly each Wednesday on Talkin’ Fight, says this didn’t begin at the 2012 Olympics, which were held in London and debuted women who box.

With Paris approaching that will again feature womens boxing in many divisions, they are also many women fighting professionally these days who are promoted by some of the world’s biggest names in the business. But there is room to grow, and as Natalie points out there is quite a history to be shared, and she enjoys sharing it week after week on her show.

One of Sugar’s faves: Ava Knight — a professional boxer and champion

Recently, as explained in the show’s description, Sugar is “diving deep into a burning topic in the world of Women’s Boxing: the debate around the 3-minute, 12-round format. Why is this such a contentious issue? How does it affect the athletes, the fans, and the integrity of the sport?”

On a prior episode, Talkin’ Fight asked fans to join Natalie Sugar Brown as she explores the realm of Women’s Boxing and its P4P (Pound-for-Pound) titans, as the former boxer skillfully answered these (and more) questions: Who truly deserves to be at the top? Are the rankings justified? Sugar, of course, always brings her own perspective to the table, while on the show revealing her current Women’s Boxing P4P list and a side-by-side analysis with the well-renowned Ring Magazine’s list.
